MCM’s third Christmas Fair

After early morning rain, the clouds parted for Christmas-like blue skies and sunshine all day. Parents, pupils and beaks arrived to be greeted by the aromas of freshly baked mince pies, traditional Christmas drinks, hot chocolate, cinnamon and spice wafting through the Fair. With Santa and his elves busy in the Grotto, parents and beaks alike were happily wandering the stalls of numerous vendors. Children’s laughter filled the air as they enjoyed a day of festive fun interrupted only to listen to performances of the wonderful Prep School Choir.

As the last gift was bought from the ‘Children Only’ gift shop, and the last letter to Santa put into the post box, with parents leaving laden with Christmas shopping bags, Santa and his elves bid farewell “HO HO HO, be good boys and girls, maybe next year it will snow!” Now there’s an idea…
