As part of their GCSE Design and Technology course, the Remove pupils were asked to design and make a docking station for an MP3 player. They were free to explore a variety of materials and techniques but there had to be an element of Computer Aided Design work included. Here are this year’s fantastic results which are mostly made from laser cut acrylic sheet. A few of the other pieces were constructed from different materials including polypropylene sheet, laser plywood, laminated wood veneer and vacuum formed polystyrene sheet. These are fully functioning products that actually play music from an MP3 player or smartphone. Congratulations to the Remove on an excellent project.
