U9 Football MCM v Alice Smith

Alice Smith School (Kuala Lumpur) travelled to Marlborough last weekend to play football matches against our U9 A, B & C teams. They arrived on the Friday night so they would be well prepared for the 9am start on Saturday. The games were very evenly matched and both schools fought very hard in the morning heat. All pupils demonstrated their passion and skills on the football fields. After the official matches were over, we then mixed the teams up so that both sets of pupils would have the opportunity to interact and play with each other. When the final siren rang out, all were more than exhausted. Everyone then headed for a well-deserved lunch and cooling swim. Alice Smith School also enjoyed an afternoon of activities at MCM, which included mastering the climbing wall and enjoying the other sports facilities. All in all, a very successful day where 120 boys and girls from both schools enjoyed some great football matches. Many thanks to all the supporters and to all those who made this event such a success!
